The struggling Browns not only lost to the Colts on Sunday, they may have lost starting QB Derek Anderson and star TE Kellen Winslow to serious injuries.
Anderson was injured late in the fourth quarter (video) when he was sacked by Colts DE Robert Mathis for a 10-yard loss. Anderson appeared to have his left leg twisted as he fell, and had to be helped off the field by trainers. The AP is reporting Anderson sprained a knee ligament and is likely done for the season.
“It’s not very good,” said Anderson, who will undergo more tests on Monday. “I felt a burn, a pain. It’s disappointing.”
