Sunday was Kids' Day at Madison Square Garden and with the way the Rangers played, that could mean a whole new generation of boo-birds.
It was a crummy day to be a Ranger and an even worse day to be their equipment, which the Blueshirts spent all afternoon breaking and flinging in disgust in their 4-0 loss to the Florida Panthers. This was particularly so in the second period as the Panthers leaped all over a sleepy and sloppy Ranger bunch to score three times in quick succession. Even Henrik Lundqvist, the King himself, was yanked for the second time in three Garden games.
